NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION in appropriate TESTS W/CODES article below. For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ  section. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position before disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage at Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) module connector terminal No. 41, pedal travel sensor return circuit (Red/Black wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, repair short to voltage in Red/Black wire and replace CAB module. Perform TEST VER-1. If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace CAB module. Perform TEST VER-1.
