  1. Relay is located in power distribution center. Remove relay. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between relay terminals No. 87A and 30. See Figure . Ensure continuity exists.
  2. Apply 12-volt source between terminals No. 85 and 86. Ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 30 and 87. Measure resistance between relay terminals No. 85 and 86. Resistance should be 70-80 ohms. Replace relay if it does not test as specified.
