CAUTION: Some models are equipped with a factory adjusted throttle plate position set screw. Never attempt to adjust idle mixture using this screw!
Idle speed is electronically controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) through the Idle Air Control (IAC) motor, and is not adjustable.
If idle is outside of specified rpm, or is rough, or unstable, inspect and clean throttle body, if deposits are visible. SEE DIAGNOSIS, TESTING AND INSPECTION PROCEDURES/THROTTLE BODY MINIMUM AIR FLOW TEST.
