Brake/Cruise Control Switch Test

  1. Disconnect double connector at cruise control switch and connect a 12-volt source to either SET of switch terminals. Connect a test light from other set of terminals to ground.
  2. Test light should illuminate with brake pedal in normal position. If switch is correctly adjusted, test light should go out when brake pedal is depressed a maximum of 3/8". Repeat test with remaining set of terminals.
