- Loosen adjustment bracket lock screw. Position bracket with both bracket alignment tabs touching transaxle case. Tighten lock screw to 105 INCH lbs. (12 N.m).
- Release cable assembly cross-lock by pulling upward. Ensure that cable is free to slide all the way toward engine, against its stop, after cross-lock is released. Move throttle lever fully clockwise against its internal stop and press cross-lock downward into locked position. This completes adjustment. Cable backlash is automatically removed.
- To check cable operation, move transaxle throttle lever forward and release slowly. Ensure cable returns to full rear position.
