NOTE: Kickdown band adjusting screw is located on left side (top front) of transaxle case.
  1. Loosen adjusting screw lock nut, and back off 5 turns. After making sure adjusting screw turns freely in case, tighten screw to 72 INCH lbs. (8 N.m).
  2. Back off screw 2 1/2 turns. Hold adjusting screw in this position and tighten lock nut to 35 ft. lbs. (47 N.m.).
