Engine Identification Code
The engine identification number is located as follows:
318" & 360"-1Β - Left front of block, below cylinder head.
360"-3Β - Front face of block, below cylinder head on left bank.
400" (1976-78)Β - Right side of block, next to distributor.
440"-1Β - Top of block, adjacent to left front tappet rail.
440"-3Β - Left top of block, adjacent to water pump.
