AUTOSTICK Mode

2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT, 4D Wagon, StandardSECTION AUTOSTICK Mode

During the AutoStick mode the cluster will turn off all PRNDL gear positions (boxes). The PRND graphic will remain illuminated. The EMIC will illuminate and display the current AutoStick gear position, (Example: PRND4). The EMIC will not display skipped gears while in the AutoStick mode. The EMIC will only display the current AutoStick gear positions (unlike the Non-AutoStick mode). AutoStick equipped vehicles with the Cruise feature incorporate an LED "CRUISE" indicator. If the EMIC does not receive valid gear information for 5 seconds, it will illuminate all PRND boxes, cancel the AutoStick function, and record a DTC.
