Oil Level Indicator Tube: Installation

- Replace the oil level indicator tube seal and lubricate with engine oil.NOTE: The oil level indicator tube must be fully seated or oil leaks can occur.
- Position the oil level indicator tube (2) and install it in the crankcase.
- Install the bolt (1) in the cylinder head cover. Tighten to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).
- Position the wire harness loom at the oil level indicator tube and fasten with new cable tie (3).
- Install the air cleaner housing. (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION)Β .
- Start the engine and check for leaks.
