- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner housing. (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - REMOVAL)Β .
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the lower splash shield screws (1) and the splash shield.
- Remove the left side catalytic converter. (Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM/CATALYTIC CONVERTER - INSTALLATION) .
- Remove the exhaust manifold nuts (3).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the left side exhaust manifold (1) and gaskets (2) from the engine compartment.
