Security System Module: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the trunk floor carpet.
  3. Remove the right side interior trim panel (4).
  4. Remove the upper right roof trim panel (1).
  5. Remove the rear interior trim panel (2).
  6. Remove the right half of the floor covering (3).
  7. Remove the sound deadening foam material from the central locking pump/security system module.

  8. Disconnect the air lines (2) and the electrical harness (1) from the central locking pump/security system module (3) and remove the module.
