- Position accelerator pedal assembly over studs onto dash panel. Ensure carpet and insulation are trapped between the lip of the pedal base and the floor plan (Fig 1). Install mounting nuts and tighten to 12 N.m (105 in.lbs.) torque.
- From inside the vehicle, hold up the pedal and install the throttle cable and cable retainer in the upper end of the pedal shaft.
- From the engine compartment, hold the throttle body lever in the wide open position and install the throttle cable.
