Intake Manifold - Lower: Removal

- Release fuel system pressure. (Refer to FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE ).
- Remove upper intake manifold. (Refer to REMOVALΒ ).
- Disconnect electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
- Remove fuel supply hose from fuel rail.
- Remove screw attaching fuel rail support bracket to the throttle body support bracket.
- Remove bolts attaching fuel rail.
- Remove fuel rail and injectors as an assembly.
- Remove manifold attaching bolts (Figure).
- Remove lower manifold.
- Inspect manifold. (Refer to INSPECTIONΒ ).
