Front Wiper Switch: Installation
2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring, 2.4 B, AutomaticSECTION Installation
To service the front wiper/washer switch, the multi-function switch must first be removed.
- Place new wiper/washer switch next to the multi-function switch and install two screws.
- Place the multi-function switch into place and install the two mounting screws. See Figure . Torque multi-function switch to column retaining screws to 3 N.m (27 in. lbs.).
- Connect both posi-lock harness connectors at the rear of the multi-function switch and front wiper/washer switch. See Figure .
- Install both upper and lower steering column shrouds. See STEERING COLUMN .
- Connect the battery negative cable.
- Close hood.
- Verify vehicle and system operation.
