Transmission Cooler Lines: Installation

2004 Chrysler Crossfire StandardSECTION Installation

  1. Position the cooler line(s) and loosely connect the fittings.
  2. Install the retainers and bolts for the cooler line(s).
  3. NOTE: Replace the copper washers if the banjo bolts are removed.
  4. Tighten the cooler line fittings or banjo bolts to 20 N.m (15 ft. lbs.).
  5. Tighten the transmission cooler line retaining bolts to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Install the radiator if removed. See RADIATORΒ .
  8. Check the transmission fluid level.
