Section 4 (Engine Cooling System & Automatic Transmission Cooling System): Engine: Radiator: Removal

2004 Chrysler Crossfire StandardSECTION Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the radiator fan. See RADIATOR FANΒ .
  3. Drain the cooling system. See DRAINING COOLING SYSTEMΒ .
  4. Remove the air cleaner inlet tubes.
  5. Disconnect the upper radiator hose (4).
  6. Disconnect the lower radiator hose (7) and coolant recovery reservoir hose (5).

  7. Disconnect the transmission cooler lines and fit together with coupler (automatic transmission only). See TRANSMISSION COOLER LINESΒ .
  8. Remove the radiator hold down clamps (1).

  9. Tilt the radiator forward and remove the A/C condenser to the radiator retaining bolts (1).

  10. Remove the radiator from the vehicle.
