Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

- Clean any debris or corrosion from the engine coolant temperature sensor mounting surface.
- Use a small amount of petroleum jelly to lubricate the sensor seal.
- Install the engine coolant temperature sensor and retaining clip.
- Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor harness connector (1).
- Fill the cooling system. See REFILLING COOLING SYSTEM .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
