Manifold Tune Valve: Removal
2004 Chrysler Crossfire StandardSECTION Removal
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner housing. See 3.2L V6 article.
- Remove the air injection pump. See EMISSIONS CONTROL article.
- Disconnect the manifold tune valve harness connector at the manifold tune valve solenoid.
- Disconnect the vacuum line.
- Remove the left hand air pump switch over valve. See AIR INJECTION in EMISSIONS CONTROL article.
- Remove the nut retaining the manifold tune valve to the valve rod.
- Remove the manifold tune valve (2) and the solenoid (1) from the intake.
