Test VER-1A: Verification Test
1999 Chrysler LHSSECTION Test VER-1A: Verification Test
- Turn ignition off. Connect or install all previously disconnected connectors and removed components. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool, clear all diagnostic trouble codes. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read diagnostic trouble codes. If any diagnostic trouble codes are set, repeat TEST 1A
. If no diagnostic trouble codes are set, go to next step.CAUTION: Ensure brake system has braking capability before road testing vehicle. Ensure scan tool is not in ABS diagnostics mode during road test, or ABS will be disabled.
- Road test vehicle for at least 5 minutes. Perform several ABS stops and traction control starts (if equipped). Go to next step.
- Using scan tool, read diagnostic trouble codes. If any diagnostic trouble codes are set, repeat TEST 1A . If no diagnostic trouble codes are set, customer's complaint cannot be duplicated. Repair is complete.
