Test VER-1A: Verification Test

1999 Chrysler LHSSECTION Test VER-1A: Verification Test
  1. Turn ignition off. Connect or install all previously disconnected connectors and removed components. Go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool, clear all diagnostic trouble codes. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read diagnostic trouble codes. If any diagnostic trouble codes are set, repeat TEST 1AΒ  . If no diagnostic trouble codes are set, go to next step.
    CAUTION: Ensure brake system has braking capability before road testing vehicle. Ensure scan tool is not in ABS diagnostics mode during road test, or ABS will be disabled.
  3. Road test vehicle for at least 5 minutes. Perform several ABS stops and traction control starts (if equipped). Go to next step.
  4. Using scan tool, read diagnostic trouble codes. If any diagnostic trouble codes are set, repeat TEST 1AΒ  . If no diagnostic trouble codes are set, customer's complaint cannot be duplicated. Repair is complete.
