Test 18A: Abs Warning Light

NOTE:
If any other diagnostic trouble codes set, they must be repaired before continuing with this test. Scan tool must be able to communicate with CAB prior to performing this test.
- Diagnostic trouble code may be caused by a defective LED, defective PCI bus wiring or defective instrument cluster. Go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Observe ABS warning light located on instrument cluster. Turn ignition on. If ABS warning light turns on for several seconds, and then turns off, ABS warning light circuit is operating properly at this time. If ABS warning light does not operate as specified, go to next step.
- If ABS warning light remains on, replace instrument cluster. If ABS warning light does not turn on, go to next step.
- Open driver's door. If door ajar light turns on, replace instrument cluster. If door ajar light does not turn on, repair open in fused battery voltage circuit to instrument cluster.
