ABS System Relay

1999 Chrysler LHSSECTION ABS System Relay

The ABS system relay is located in the Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB). See Figure . When CAB receives an ignition signal and verifies no stored diagnostic trouble codes, CAB energizes ABS system relay. When ABS system relay is energized, it provides voltage to pump/motor relay and to valves in valve block on Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). When ABS system relay is de-energized, it supplies a ground circuit to turn on Amber ABS warning light.
