Ignition Switch: Removal
1999 Chrysler LHSSECTION Removal
- Ignition switch attaches to end of lock cylinder housing on steering column. See Figure . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEMΒ . Ensure negative battery cable is disconnected from stud on shock tower and isolated from all other components.
- Remove multifunction switch. See MULTIFUNCTION SWITCHΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect electrical connector from ignition switch. Remove ignition switch retaining screws. Remove ignition switch.
