SYMPTOM:
P0750-L-R SOLENOID CIRCUIT
When Monitored and Set Condition:
P0750-L-R SOLENOID CIRCUIT
When Monitored: Ignition key is turned from off or crank position to run, then every 10 secs. thereafter, or when speed ratio or pressure sw error fault is detected. All 4 solenoids (sol) are tested for continuity during vehicle operation. For sol currently energize,
Set Condition: power is momentarily interrupted, then energized. For sol not currently energized sol is momentarily energized then deenergized. Under both situations, if an inductive spike is not sensed by TCM during the continuity check, it is retested again.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- CHECKING SYMPTOMS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES
- LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE CAUSING SYMPTOM
- TCM PIN 53 TO GROUND OPEN
- TCM PIN 57 TO GROUND OPEN
- TCR OUTPUT CIRCUIT SHORT TO L-R SOLENOID CIRCUIT
- TCM OPEN GROUND DEFAULT
- TCR OUTPUT (SWITCHED B+) OPEN AT INLINE CONNECTOR
- TCR OUTPUT OPEN BTWN SOLENOID PACK AND INLINE CONNECTORS
- DEFECTIVE SOLENOID PACK
- L-R SOLENOID SHORTED IN SOLENOID PACK
- TRANSMISSION SOLENOID PACK OPEN (L-R SECTION)
- L-R SOLENOID CONTROL CKT SHORT TO GROUND
- SOLENOID CNTRL CKT TO SOLENOID CONNECTOR OPEN
- L-R SOLENOID CONTROL CKT SHORT TO TCR OUTPUT CKT AT INLINE
- L-R SOLENOID CONTROL GROUND SHORT AT INLINE CONNECTOR
- SOLENOID CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN BETWEEN TCM AND INLINE CONNECTOR
- INTERMITTENT CODE P0750
- LOW OR DEFECTIVE BATTERY
