When Monitored and Set Condition:
P0715-INPUT SENSOR ERROR
When Monitored: The transmission gear/speed ratio is monitored continuously while the transmission is in gear. This code is set if the gear/speed ratio is not correct for a period of time.
Set Condition: A hard code is set within 3 seconds, an intermittent code sets with 3 seconds, an intermittent code sets within 15 seconds. Code P0715 sets if there is an extensive change in input RPM in any gear.

- BOTH INPUT AND OUTPUT SPEEDS=0 IN OD WITH BRAKES ON
- OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR SHORT TO GROUND AT TCM
- OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR SHORT TO GROUND AT TCM CONNECTOR
- OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GND
- TRS SPEED SENSOR GND SHORTED TO BATTERY
- TRS SPEED SENSOR GROUND SHORTED TO BATTERY(INPUT)
- OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT OPEN
