NOTE: The engine coolant temperature sensor is located next to the thermostat housing (Fig. 97).

REMOVAL
1. With the engine cold, disconnect coolant sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. Install engine coolant temperature sensor. Tighten sensor to 28 Nm (20 ft. lb) torque.
2. Attach electrical connector to sensor.
