The Vehicle systems that are part of the Body system are:
- Automatic Temperature Control (ATC)
- Automatic Headlamps (Ultra Light System)
- Chime
- Courtesy Lamps/panel Dimming
- Headlamp Delay
- Illuminated Entry
- Mechanical Instrument Cluster (MIC)
- Message Center
- Overhead Travel Information System (OTIS)
- Power Door Locks
- Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
- Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS)
- Wipers (hi/lo and Intermittent)

Vehicles equipped with the premium body control module can be identified by the presence of either the ATC system, OTIS system, VTSS system, ultra light system, or any combination of these systems. Vehicles with VTSS can also be identified by the presence of a VTSS indicator lamp located in the center of the instrument panel upper cover. Vehicles with the base body control module do not have these systems and can also be identified by having only two connectors instead of three.
