CVSCC Test
1984 Chrysler LeBaron Base, 2D Convertible, 2.2 CSECTION CVSCC Test
- Remove CVSCC valve from vehicle. Place it in ice bath to bring temperature of coolant sensing portion to below 40°F (4°C).
- Attach hand vacuum pump with gauge to CVSCC nipple corresponding to Yellow stripe hose on 4-cylinder engines.
- Apply vacuum of 10 in. Hg. Observe gauge for 1 minute. There should be no more than 1 in. Hg drop in vacuum within this time. If so, replace CVSCC valve.
