To program an existing or new control module, perform the following procedure:
- Install the special tool: EL-49642 SPS Programming Support Tool
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Access SPS and follow the on-screen instructions for the control module: K71 Transmission Control Module or Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly
- Select: Programming
- Select: Setup
