    Communication Interface Module Bracket (2) - Install

  2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Communication Interface Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    NOTE:

    When reconnecting the module, the BROWN J2 connector must be connected last. Once all the parts are all in place, check and clear all DTCs in the heater and air conditioning remote control.

    {If equipped} Heater and Air Conditioning Remote Control (2) - Install

  5. {If equipped} Seat the heater and air conditioning remote control until the detent (1) on the communication interface module bracket locks.

    Serial Data Gateway Module (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Tie Bar (1) - Install

  11. Attach the wiring harness and connect the electrical connectors as necessary.
  12. Remove the support supporting the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module.

    Instrument Panel Wiring Harness Ground Nut (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  14. Connect the instrument panel wiring harness (1) clip and connector.

    Connect the instrument panel wiring harness connectors (2) to the high frequency antenna harness.

    Starting at the front of the front side door sill garnish molding (1) engage the 2 retaining clips on the forward vertical wall.

  35. Work your way rearward engaging the front side door sill garnish molding retaining clips.

    Windshield Wiper System Module Shield (1) - Install

    Air Inlet Grille Panel (2) - Install

  39. Connect the windshield washer nozzle hose to the windshield washer pump hose.

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension - Left Side (1) - Install

  44. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces.
  45. Using a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water with a clean towel, remove any left over adhesive residue from the masking tape.

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension - Right Side (1) - Install

  47. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces.
  48. Using a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water with a clean towel, remove any left over adhesive residue from the masking tape.

    Radio Antenna (1) - Install

  50. Rotate the antenna clockwise to secure the radio antenna to the antenna base.

    Clean the left and right side windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft splines with a soft wire brush before installing the windshield wiper arm (3).

  52. Position the windshield wiper arms (3) on the windshield wiper transmission pivot shafts.
  53. Windshield Wiper Arm Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  54. Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap (1) - Install [2x]

    If required, realign the windshield wipers to their respective alignment circles (1) on the windshield.

  56. Lubricate the windshield with clean washer fluid.
  57. Run the windshield wipers for two complete cycles then turn off the windshield wipers.
  58. Ensure the windshield wipers are in the full park position.
