Replace and Program Control Module or Reprogram Control Module
To program an existing control module, perform the following procedure:
- Ignition/Vehicle OFF, keep the key inside the vehicle.
- Install EL-49642Β SPS Programming Support Tool
- Access the Service Programming System (SPS) and follow the on-screen instructions.
- On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select K179 Automated Driving Mapping Module - Programming and follow the on-screen instructions.
If Ethernet programming fails, ensure the Automated Driving Mapping Module is communicating over Ethernet properly. Refer to Scan Tool Does Not Communicate with Vehicle.
