2023 Chevrolet Camaro SS, 2D Convertible, Standard TransSECTION Component Testing

Static Test

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector: B55 Hood Ajar Switch
  3. Test for 658 to 806 ohms between the test points: Signal terminal 1 & Ground terminal 3 - The switch is in the closed position.
    • If not between 658 and 806 ohms 

      Replace the component: B55 Hood Ajar Switch

    • Go to next step: If between 658 and 806 ohms 
  4. Test for 2080 to 2545 ohms between the test points: Signal terminal 1 & Ground terminal 3 - The switch is in the open position.
    • If not between 2080 and 3545 ohms 

      Replace the component: B55 Hood Ajar Switch

    • Go to next step: If between 2080 and 3545 ohms 
  5. All OK.
