Component Testing
2022 Chevrolet Trax LT, AWDSECTION Component Testing
Static Test
- Ignition/Vehicle - Off
- Disconnect the electrical connector: B55 Hood Ajar Switch
- Test for 658 to 806 ohms between the test points: Signal terminal 1 & Ground terminal 3 - The switch is in the closed position.
- If not between 658 and 806 ohms
Replace the component: B55 Hood Ajar Switch
- Go to next step: If between 658 and 806 ohms
- If not between 658 and 806 ohms
- Test for 2080 to 2545 ohms between the test points: Signal terminal 1 & Ground terminal 3 - The switch is in the open position.
- If not between 2080 and 3545 ohms
Replace the component: B55 Hood Ajar Switch
- Go to next step: If between 2080 and 3545 ohms
- If not between 2080 and 3545 ohms
- All OK.
