Preliminary Procedure 
Open the hood.
1 Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap
Procedure 
Use an appropriate tool to remove the finish cap on the wiper arm.
2 Windshield Wiper Arm Nut
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
39.5 N.m (29 lb ft)
3 Windshield Wiper Arm

Procedure

  1. Grasp the outer end of the wiper arm and gently rock the arm back and forth, while holding the wiper arm blade off the windshield.
  2. Remove the windshield wiper arm from the pivot shaft.
  3. Clean the wiper motor pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing a new wiper arm.
  4. Position the wiper arm on the wiper motor pivot shaft.
  5. Align the windshield wiper arm. Windshield Wiper Arm Adjustment
