Replace or Reprogram Control Module
2022 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, 2D Convertible, Standard TransSECTION Replace or Reprogram Control Module
To program an existing or a replacement control module, perform the following procedure:
- Access the Service Programming System (SPS) and follow the on-screen instructions.
- On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select K43 Power Steering Control Module - Programming and follow the on-screen instructions.
- On the SPS Supported Controllers screen, select K43 Power Steering Control Module - Configuration and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Clear DTCs.
- Raise the front wheels off the ground.
- Ignition ON, engine running.
- Rotate the steering wheel to the left lock position and hold tightly for 4 seconds.
- Rotate the steering wheel to the right lock position and hold tightly for 4 seconds.
- Repeat steps 7 and 8.
- Lower the vehicle.
NOTE:
The following must be performed in order for the EPS software to relearn the steering center position.
