- Ignition ON.
- Verify the parking assist system is enabled.
- If the parking assist system is manually disabled
Enable the system. Refer to the vehicle owners manual for instructions on enabling the system.
- Go to next step: If the parking assist system is enabled
- If the parking assist system is manually disabled
- Transmission in REVERSE.
- Verify the scan tool Parking Assist System Status parameter is Enable.
- If the parameter is not Enabled
Refer to Diagnostic Aids to determine the cause of the inhibit.
- Go to next step: If the parameter is Enabled
- If the parameter is not Enabled
- All OK.
