Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Chevrolet, GMC) , or Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Cadillac)
  2. Place the rear bumper fascia face down on a clean protected surface.
1 Rear Object Sensor Wiring Harness

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the rear object sensor wiring harness electrical connectors from the rear object sensors.
  2. Disconnect the rear object sensor wiring harness electrical connectors from the rear module.
  3. Disconnect any remaining electrical connectors.
  4. Using a suitable tool, disconnect the rear object sensor wiring harness retainers from the rear bumper fascia.
