- Verify the scan tool can communicate with the following component:K60 Steering Column Lock Module
- If the scan tool cannot communicate with the component
- Verify there are no DTCs set related to the following system/component:Serial Data
- If a related DTC is set
Refer to:Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- If a related DTC is not set
Refer to:Scan Tool Does Not Communicate with Low Speed GMLAN Device
- If a related DTC is set
- Go to next step: If the scan tool can communicate with the component
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC.Verify DTC B305A is not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
