- Verify that the transmitter is a correct transmitter for the vehicle. This can be accomplished by comparing the part number printed on the transmitter to the appropriate part number in the parts catalog.
- If the transmitter is incorrect
Replace the transmitter.
- Go to next step: If the transmitter is correct
- If the transmitter is incorrect
- Program the transmitter. Refer to Key with Integrated Transmitter Programming (without BTM)Key with Integrated Transmitter Programming (with BTM) .
- Verify the transmitter has successfully completed the programming procedure.
- If the transmitter does not program successfully
Replace the transmitter.
- Go to next step: If the transmitter programs successfully
- If the transmitter does not program successfully
- All OK.
