Installation Procedure
With the aid of an assistant, load the instrument panel (1) to the instrument panel tie bar to the locator pins.
- Reposition the instrument panel wiring harness into the vehicle position as was noted in the removal and connect the fasteners securing the instrument panel wiring harness to the instrument panel (1).
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Instrument Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [11x] 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
Instrument Panel Airbag Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Instrument Panel Compartment Door Latch Striker Bolt (2) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Connect the electrical connector.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
