2019 Chevrolet Trax Premier, AWDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
  2. GM2599517

    Disconnect the left rear intermediate pipe fitting (1) from the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV).

  3. Plug the BPMV outlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  4. GM2599513

    Release the left rear intermediate pipe from the retaining clips (1).

  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

    Release the left rear intermediate pipe from the retaining clip (1).

  7. GM2599510

    Release the left rear intermediate pipe from the front floor retaining clips (1).

  8. GM2777420

    Remove the 2 nuts and the underbody cross sill shield (1).

  9. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (AWD) .

    Release the left rear intermediate pipe from the rear floor retaining clips (1).

  11. GM2777518

    Release the left rear intermediate pipe from the retaining clips (1).

  12. GM2777579

    Release the left rear intermediate pipe from the cross vehicle retaining clips (1).

    Release the left rear intermediate pipe from the left rail retaining clips (1).

  14. GM2777587

    Release the left rear intermediate pipe from the left rear rail retaining clips (1).

  15. GM2772260

    Disconnect the left rear intermediate pipe fitting (1) from the rear brake hose fitting.

  16. Cap the brake hose fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  17. Remove the left rear intermediate pipe from the vehicle.
