Installation Procedure
Position the power steering gear inlet hose (2) on the vehicle.
- Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose Seal(4) - Install
Install a NEW seal.
- Power Steering Gear Inlet Hose Seal(4) - Install
Install a NEW seal.
- Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose(3)@Steering Gear - Install
- Power Steering Gear Inlet Hose(2)@Steering Gear - Install
- Power Steering Gear Inlet and Outlet Hose Bolt(1) - Install and tighten 11 N.m (97 lb in)
Secure the power steering gear outlet hose (3) to the drivetrain and front suspension frame using the plastic push pin (2) and the power steering gear inlet hose bracket bolt (1).
- Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose Bracket Bolt(1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose(2)@Power Steering Fluid Cooler - Install
- Power Steering Gear Outlet Hose Clamp(1) - Engage
- Install the right front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. Power Steering System Bleeding
