Installation Procedure
Route the mode control cable (1) behind the instrument panel and the tie bar.
- NOTE:
When installing the mode control cable, do not twist the cable wire.
Insert the cable into the detent, move the cable barrel (3) back into the detent to secure the cable to the pulley, (2) to install the mode control cable assembly (1) to the pulley.
Route the wire (2) around the mode control cable pulley groove.
- Insert the center wire (3) into the hole of pulley.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Install the mode control cable retaining screw (1) and the mode control cable (2) onto the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module and tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

When to See a Mechanic
