Position the stabilizer shaft (1) on the drivetrain and front suspension frame.
- NOTE:
Start ALL fasteners by hand before tightening.
Front Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Clamp Bolt(2) - Install[4x]
- Front Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Clamp Nut(1) - Install and tighten[4x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Raise the rear of the drivetrain and front suspension frame.
- Install ALL drivetrain and front suspension frame bolts. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement (Long Cradle)Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement (Short Cradle)Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement (Long Cradle - V5O)
- Remove the adjustable stands from underneath the vehicle.
- Rear Transmission Mount Through Bolt - Install - Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Rear (FWD)Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Rear (AWD)
- Exhaust Isolator@Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame - Install[2x] - Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LUV)Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (2H0)Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LE2)
- Front Lower Control Arm@Steering Knuckle - Install[2x] - Lower Control Arm ReplacementΒ
- Front Stabilizer Shaft Link@Front Stabilizer Shaft - Install[2x] - Stabilizer Shaft Link ReplacementΒ
- Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod@Steering Knuckle - Install[2x] - Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement
- Front Wheelhouse Liner-Left Side - Install - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Chevrolet)Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Buick)
- Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Transmission Protector - Install - Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Transmission Protector Replacement
- Install the front tire and wheel assemblies. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

- Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
