2019 Chevrolet Trax Premier, AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. GM4373177

    Position the stabilizer shaft (1) on the drivetrain and front suspension frame.

  2. GM4373175
    NOTE:

    Start ALL fasteners by hand before tightening.

    Front Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Clamp Bolt(2) - Install[4x]

  3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Front Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Clamp Nut(1) - Install and tighten[4x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  5. Raise the rear of the drivetrain and front suspension frame.
  6. Install ALL drivetrain and front suspension frame bolts. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement (Long Cradle)Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement (Short Cradle)Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement (Long Cradle - V5O)
  7. Remove the adjustable stands from underneath the vehicle.
  8. Rear Transmission Mount Through Bolt - Install - Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Rear (FWD)Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Rear (AWD)
  9. Exhaust Isolator@Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame - Install[2x] - Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LUV)Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (2H0)Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LE2)
  10. Front Lower Control Arm@Steering Knuckle - Install[2x] - Lower Control Arm ReplacementΒ 
  11. Front Stabilizer Shaft Link@Front Stabilizer Shaft - Install[2x] - Stabilizer Shaft Link ReplacementΒ 
  12. Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod@Steering Knuckle - Install[2x] - Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement
  13. Front Wheelhouse Liner-Left Side - Install - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Chevrolet)Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Buick)
  14. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Transmission Protector - Install - Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Transmission Protector Replacement
  15. Install the front tire and wheel assemblies. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

  17. Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
