Preliminary Procedure

  1. Recover the air conditioning system refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the front compartment front center insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Front Center Insulator Replacement .

Discard the old O-ring and replace with a NEW O-ring.
