Removal Procedure
2019 Chevrolet Trax Premier, AWDSECTION Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9)Β Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)Β .
- Remove the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement .
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the drivetrain and front suspension frame transmission protector. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Transmission Protector Replacement .
Disconnect the engine wiring harness connector (4).
- Remove the protective boot (1).
- Remove the battery positive cable fastener (2) and the battery positive cable (3).
Remove the 2 generator mounting fasteners (2).
- Remove the generator (1)
