Installation Procedure
- NOTE:
Install new fuel injector seals, coat the multiport fuel injector seals with silicone grease.
Install the fuel injector retainer (1).
- Install the 4 new fuel injector seals.
Install the multiport fuel injection fuel rail (2) and the fuel injectors (3) to the intake manifold.
- Install the 2 multiport fuel injection fuel rail bolts (1) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
Install the 2 evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve bracket bolts (2) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
- Remove the CH-807Β plug.
- Connect the quick-release fitting of fuel feed pipe (1).
- Connect the wiring harness to the:
- Evaporative emission purge valve
- Fuel injectors
- Manifold absolute pressure sensor
- Install the positive crankcase ventilation tube. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement .
- Connect the negative cable from the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
Coat the fuel injector seals with silicone grease
Refer to Fastener Caution .

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
