Preliminary Procedure 
Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
1 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Fastener
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from accelerator pedal position Sensor.
  2. After replacement of the accelerator pedal position sensor, use a scan tool to speed up the learn process. Refer to K20 Engine Control Module: Programming and Setup
