- If DTC U0077 or U0126 is set
Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Go to next step: If DTC U0077 or U0126 is not set
- If DTC U0077 or U0126 is set
- Verify the scan tool Steering Wheel Angle parameter value constantly changes from +550 to -550° as the steering wheel is turned through its entire range from left to right.
- If the parameter does not constantly change with the steering wheel position or the reading is erratic
Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If the parameter constantly changes with the steering wheel position
- If the parameter does not constantly change with the steering wheel position or the reading is erratic
- All OK.
