- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S72 Sunroof Switch.
- Test for infinite resistance between the following signal circuit terminals and the ignition terminal 1 with the switch in the open position.
- Terminal 2
- Terminal 3
- If less than infinite resistance
Replace the S72 Sunroof Switch.
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- Test for less than 5 Ω between the signal terminal 2 and the ignition terminal 1 with the sunroof open switch pressed.
- If 5 Ω or greater
Replace the S72 Sunroof Switch.
- If 5 Ω or greater
- Test for less than 5 Ω between the signal terminal 3 and the ignition terminal 1 with the sunroof close switch pressed.
- If 5 Ω or greater
Replace the S72 Sunroof Switch.
- Go to next step: If less than 5 Ω
- If 5 Ω or greater
- All OK
