Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (6-Lug Wheel)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (8-Lug Wheel) .
- Remove the front brake rotor. Front Brake Rotor Replacement (JD9, JB1)Front Brake Rotor Replacement (J95) .
- Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
Release the front wheel speed sensor harness electrical connector (1) from the brake hose bracket.
- Release the front wheel speed sensor harness retainers (2).
Clean the front wheel speed sensor area on the wheel hub and bearing assembly of any accumulated dirt and debris.
- Remove the front wheel speed sensor bolt (1).
- Remove the front wheel speed sensor assembly from the wheel hub and bearing assembly by pulling straight out.
